What to Expect when you visit us.

Parkhill Baptist Church is an exciting, vibrant, and dynamic place to meet new people, learn about God, and worship Him with others.  You are welcome just as you are.

WHAT IS THE OVERALL ENVIRONMENT LIKE?

Our Sunday services are specifically designed to be a place where all people can have a dynamic encounter in the presence of God.  Our worship is driven by passionate celebration and supported by a strong media presence.  The preaching of God’s Word is challenging and relevant to bring us to the place of change.

WILL I BE BORED?

We sure hope not. A life connected to Jesus should be fulfilling and rewarding. We strategically plan weekend gatherings to engage your heart, mind and soul. We use music, video, powerful teaching and other experiential elements to help you connect to God in a meaningful way.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You can wear a suit or shorts. Whatever you're comfortable in. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person, than what they are wearing on the outside. If it helps you out, our pastors are usually dressed casual. So just come as you are.

WHAT'S THE MUSIC LIKE?

We have a live band of talented musicians that do an amazing job leading our church in worship with relevant music. We don’t own a pipe organ. Our live band usually consists of guitars, drums, bass, and keys.  No Shakespearean lyrics. We try to sing songs that are deep in meaning, but easy to understand so that worship can come from our hearts.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We offer dynamic children services from birth to 5th grade during the both of our Sunday morning services. The age-appropriate rooms and experienced teachers will help your children learn about God in a relevant way, as well as offer fun experiences that will help the teaching come alive in their hearts.

Our greeters will be happy to help you find your way to the appropriate drop off point for your children.

WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?

If it’s your first time, we actually want you to keep your wallet in your pocket. Just come and experience a service at Parkhill. If you like it and want to call it your church home, then we believe giving financially to God and His church is the right thing to do as part of the family.
